Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Deadline Chip Google Workspace add-on, website, and related services. By using Deadline Chip, you agree to these Terms.
Service
Deadline Chip creates links and Google Docs smart-chip previews for timezone-aware deadlines. Features may change as the service is improved.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of deadline names, dates, times, and timezone selections. You must not use Deadline Chip for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or security-disrupting activity.
Deadline links
Anyone with a deadline link may be able to view its deadline details. Do not include confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information in deadline names. You are responsible for deciding who receives a link.
Calendar events
Calendar event details are provided as a convenience. You must review the date, time, timezone, duration, and other details before saving an event. The saved event is managed by Google Calendar under your Google account.
Availability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that reminders or previews will always load at a particular time.
No substitute for critical notification systems
Deadline Chip should not be the sole notification method for medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-consequence deadlines.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deadline Chip and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by incorrect input, missed deadlines, service interruptions, third-party services, or unauthorized sharing of deadline links.
Termination
We may suspend or discontinue access when necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
